USING STEMELO
Terms of Use
These terms supplement Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and set the rules for Stemelo’s local audio tools, subscriptions, and exports.
Effective and last updated: July 26, 2026
1. Agreement and eligibility
By downloading or using Stemelo, you agree to these Terms and Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these documents conflict, Apple’s mandatory terms and applicable consumer law control.
You must be at least 13 and legally able to accept these Terms. If local law requires a higher age or parental authorization, that rule applies.
2. Limited app license
Subject to these Terms, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use Stemelo on Apple devices connected to your Apple Account as permitted by App Store rules.
Stemelo, its design, source code, branding, and original content remain the property of the provider or its licensors. No ownership is transferred to you.
3. Your media and exports
You retain your rights in media you lawfully import. You are solely responsible for ensuring that you own the media or have permission to copy, separate, modify, practice with, and export it. Stemelo does not grant rights to third-party music.
Do not use Stemelo to evade digital rights management, download audio from YouTube, process protected Apple Music files, infringe copyright, or distribute unauthorized stems. Stemelo accepts only eligible local files selected through iOS.
4. Free use and auto-renewable subscriptions
The bundled demonstration track can be used repeatedly. An eligible user may process one local song of up to five minutes with the full feature set without subscribing. That completed project remains playable and exportable after the entitlement ends. Additional separations require Stemelo Pro.
Stemelo Pro is offered as a monthly or annual auto-renewable subscription. The annual product may include a seven-day free trial for eligible Apple Accounts. The exact localized price and any current trial terms are shown by Apple before purchase and control over any promotional text elsewhere.
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when the purchase is confirmed.
- The subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Apple may charge the renewal price within 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. Stemelo also provides Restore Purchases.
- Refunds, billing disputes, family sharing availability, taxes, and storefront rules are handled under Apple’s policies and applicable law.
5. Audio analysis and output limitations
Source separation, BPM detection, musical-key estimation, beat timing, time stretching, and pitch shifting are computational estimates. Results depend on the recording, mix, codec, device, model, and selected settings. Stemelo does not promise perfectly isolated audio, lossless output at extreme settings, or a correct BPM/key result for every recording.
Back up important originals. Stemelo is a practice and creative utility, not an archival, emergency, medical, safety, or professional forensic service.
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not:
- Use Stemelo unlawfully or infringe another person’s rights.
- Reverse engineer, circumvent access controls, or interfere with purchase validation except where law expressly permits it.
- Misrepresent extracted output as an official or authorized stem.
- Abuse the support form, send malicious content, or attempt to overload the app or its service providers.
7. Suspension, changes, and availability
Access may be limited when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, security, legal obligations, or a material breach. Features may change as iOS, hardware, model licensing, and App Store requirements evolve. A paid entitlement will not be silently replaced with undisclosed cloud processing.
8. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Stemelo is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties that may lawfully be disclaimed. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, loss of data, unauthorized use of third-party media, or decisions based on musical estimates.
Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under consumer law. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
9. Governing terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without removing mandatory consumer protections available in your country of residence. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the official Stemelo support form.
